The Collection features original pieces designed and built by Derek Designs — from Baltic birch chairs and Sculpture textured lamps to carved oak vases, cherry mirrors, and inlaid cutting boards. Each item is handcrafted using solid hardwoods, plywood, and reclaimed materials, with finishes that highlight the natural grain, texture, and character of the wood.
Unlike production furniture, every piece in the Collection is made in small batches or as a one-off. Materials include Baltic birch, walnut, cherry, white oak, mesquite, and maple. Construction methods range from precision joinery and veneer work to hand-carving, texturing, and experimental finishing techniques.
